www.dj-jondoe.com ; ;In 2001 Jon Doe discovered the progressive side of dance music by going to clubs in Cologne where this kind of music is played much more often then in other German cities. ; Very quickly he wanted to create his own “journeys”, so he started mixing, and he felt that he wanted djing to become a major part of his life. ; Apparently his mixing skills were that good! ; He got his first booking in a small club in Cologne as a resident. At that time things went very fast and many bookings followed in clubs all over Europe, such as Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Rome and Munich. ; He also played for the German Jägermeister Company, as well as for the famous Kit Kat Club in Berlin. ; <div>At the end of 2004 he started to play regularly at La Demence Brussels, and in 2005 he was voted “best DJ” by the readers of Germanys RIK Magazine - the golden RIK award! ; More recently he has been a regular at Cologne´s progressive hotspot Greenkomm, and Brussels´ underground club Naughty. ; Each set is fresh and created to suit the place, time and of course the crowd, but he has his own distinctive style. His sets are described as timeless masterpieces of flight, inducing a dream-state, with warm bass coaxing the floor to dance. Genre-wise, this translates to a mix of progressive trance, house, psy-trance, and tech. ; ; Truly a visionary of dance, Jon Doe has recently commenced his own original productions, and in 2008, his first offerings “Dark Desire” and “Contact Lost” proved what a unique talent he is. </div>
